Extra long stems in cue notes (bug?)

The project I’m attaching here has a section of cues in which some notes have extra long stems. The stems are also flipped from the surrounding notes (and in contradiction, I think, of my settings).

I worked around the issue by turning off the “ends voice” property of the final note before the cue measure and shrinking the scale of the rests that appear to 1%, but I would love to figure out what is causing this behavior.

It’s because you have removed the bar rests from those measures. I don’t agree that it should behave that way.

In any case, you’re better off leaving the rests there and then changing the scale to 1% (effectively invisible). First, show the rests again by selecting the note immediately before those two bars and then deactivating the Ends voice property.

This should solve the problem.
