Hello, there,
I’m a drummer wanting to buy Toontrack EZdrummer 2 for PC and use it with Cubase Elements 8, which I regularly own. The only question I have is: is EZdrummer 2 fully compatible with Cubase Elements 8? I’m asking this because I see what is depicted in the attached pictures on their website:
Thank you so much,
Gianpaolo
Hi,
I don’t know, how the MIDI Channel Filtering is done in EZdrummer. But in general, it should works in Cubase Elements, which supports multi-timbral (i.e. multiple channels for one Instrument).
Regarding Drag&Drop, this works in Cubase Elements the same way, as it works in Cubase Pro.
Multi-outs/Multi Channel Routing is supported in Cubase Elements.
Thank you, Martin!
By the way, what does MIDI channel filtering allow for, in ED2?
Thank you so much,
Gianpaolo

Hi,
Can Anyone help me. I have tried to contact Stienberg but they have not responded. I am trying to get EZdrummer 2 to work with Cubase 9.5 pro with no success. I have added the right path 64 bit in Plug in manager and it now show up as an instrument in programme manager. However when I go to VST instruments its not there and I can’t assign it to a track. What am I doing wrong?? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Mark
Hi,
In the Plug-in Manager, can you see it in the VST Effects or VST Instruments tab?
Isn’t it just hidden in the folder, when you try to add it as an Instrument?
