Hi @cyland , thanks for all the data. The content files look all okay, but the diagnostics contain a couple of Vienna Synchron Player crashes. There were 6 crashes and all in the Synchron Player.
I need some more time to think about your case. Iāll be back asapā¦
Okay, that leaves us then with the missing contents issue.
At second sight, though you have lots of contents files installed and they all have proper access rights, still there are quite a lot of them missing.
Though itās quite a pain in the neck, but if I were you, Iād reinstall all contents again by launching the Steinberg Download Manager, go to the Dorico 6 stage and click on the āInstall againā button for
HALion Sonic Selection - Content
Iconica Sketch
HALion Symphonic Orchestra
Olympus Choir Micro
Marching Percussion Basics
Indian Drum Basics
Groove Agent SE 5 - Content
Jazz Essentials
You can click them all in one go so that the download takes place in parallel. That wonāt make the download faster, but you donāt need to wait for one to finish before kicking off the next. So probably this is a thing you could let run over night.
I will try that, but if it still be a problem I think to do a complete new install of Dorico after an complete unstalling.
As I thought I had to do a new complete installtion so now it works as it should, a little slip is that I canāt get ride the the demo Pro version.
Thanks for all support!
Hello - I feel like I may be having something similar in this thread. I recently upgraded to Pro 6 and the playback template options are greyed out and and canāt select them. In Pro 5 I was able to. I am also using a template for musical theatre from scoring express, but again, in Pro 5 I was able to change the template setup. I know almost NOTHING about playback - Iāve been avoiding it TBH. Here is I a diagnostic report I created. Thank you.
Well, Iām going to retract my question for now. Iām not sure what was going on - but I quit and restarted and now playback template is availableā¦so maybe I inadvertently clicked something along the way. For now, Iāll leave it and soon will have to dive into learning about playback. Thanks.
