I’d use this feature.
I appreciate there’s a lot of options for automation already but it would be consistent with the audio tracks and I don’t think it would be too difficult to implement.
From the users point of view the volume handle would act much like the VCA faders on audio track volume data but instead it would be acting on the midi CC information…
Not a biggy … just came across a situation where it would have been useful… I didn’t want to turn on automation because I knew the current instrument volume wouldn’t reflect the volume in the final mix and it would have been nice to automate from the main page rather than go into the piano roll.
