Well that’s odd.
I have no recollection of adding it.
I wonder if I added it years ago when I demoed Dorico and the real install picked it up from a user-items folder.

Frustratingly Opt-8 does something else (gives focus?) meaning you can’t type it into the properties panel. Could probably paste, though, but then you’re stuck with the Horizontal Line Font, I think, and setting that to Beavura would mess up any other lines that need actual text.
You have to type UE883

Into the Annotation editor that’ll work. Into any field in the properties panel, it won’t - I just tried.
It might on Windows, and copying and pasting glyphs from somewhere else would probably work.
Ah, I see.
Jesper
That’s a bummer
Just to be clear than, with lines there is no way currently for the ‘text’ checkbox/panel to inherit the text style from either of:
edit Lines > Hyphenated Text >Syllables> Font Style
or
edit Line annotation > text > font style
i.e. that ‘text’ checkbox/panel simply adds some text with the defined text-line style and has no knowledge of what was in the cap before?
Correct.
Thanks
It was that line-style I got from somewhere that was frying my brain.
Select & copy from here and paste into the dialog.
