I have a quarter note then a group of 7 notes starting with an eight note and ending with a 32cd note. The fanned beaming works fine until I tie the quarter to the fanned group and then the fanned beams revert back to eight notes. Is there a work around to stop this from happening?
What would happen if you put the quarter note in to a different voice than the others?
