Fastest method of separating parts from staves with multiples?

Hi,

I have a score in which I input all of the woodwinds and brass with two players on each stave.
What is the fastest way to split them into two parts each?

Both notes are written in the same “voice” layer.

Explode seems to be a sloppy option as it will create 2 more staves for each existing stave (I only want one more for each).

Ideas?

Before exploding, cut. Then explode to the first staff.
