Feature Quest: Scripting API

Hi,

By the look of it, the development of Dorico’s scripting capabilities fell by the wayside a while back (as testified by Daniel in an interview from Fall 2017, and more recently in a post from May 2018, here). I find scripting to be one of Dorico’s most promising features, has its development been resumed, and are there any plans to release a Scripting API with upcoming Dorico updates?

Any hints or insights on this issue would be much appreciated.

We certainly do plan to greatly expand Dorico’s scripting capabilities in the future, but I can’t provide a specific timeline for when you will see updates in this area.
