I am a new Cubase user.Can I give any suggestions?(Please forgive my terrible English.)
1 I hope the notes in the piano window can be easily customized with any colors as I wish. Cus sometimes I need to color some specific notes or chords. (Maybe they are special or important or I need to distinguish between melody and chords or I just want to make them different from other notes)
2 Could you add a feature that I can add custom text in piano window? Sometimes I may need to write some text to mark something. Like: This chord is a special one or This chord maybe wrong or Pay attention to these notes… .
（I know there is Marker Track. But I hope to mark at any place as I want.And the text can set to larger characters to make it easier to see ）
This is it. You created a topic and marked it as a feature-request. If a responsible person finds it to be a brilliant idea they will add it to the to do list.
Mind you, there are hundreds, if not thousands of open feature requests and the developers have to pick, which ones make the most sense to integrate. It helps if you can rally other people in the forum to vote on your request, in order to show Steinberg how popular it is.
I like this request… buuut… I’d like to have per track notes. Even if I had to bring up the channel strip and click a Notes section. Things like mix decisions and lyrics per channel and/or group would be huge for my hybrid studio and our hybrid musical style.
In the toolbar of the key editor you can change the colour option to ‘voice’ and pick what colours you want. You can also add text to a note using the info line.
But you can’t add floating text which would be awesome.
Not sure where they are in the Inspector, but that tiny little window in the MixConsole is why I used the phrase “but bigger”. Putting lyrics in there is… not ideal. Same with hardware settings, unless it’s one 1176 or something else with minimal options, trying to squeeze call backs for multiple devices in that space is tedious
I would love to see improvements to notepads in Cubase. I would also love to see a dedicated lyrics track, and Cubase showing the lyrics on a dedicated monitor for a singer in a booth.
