It would be nice to have control over the baseline of flats and sharps in chord names. Currently, they seem to be tied into the character positioning of the font without a way to change them. If the chord accidental font could be chosen separately, I could make this work but currently, there seems no way to control their appearance. And when there’s an altered bass that has an accidental, I suspect that a “too high” accidental affects both the spacing of the slash and the distance of the bass note.
^^^ this will change the root accidental positioning. There’s not a setting to change the suffix accidentals, although I’ve done that (and the root at the same time) with a doricolib file. The Chord Symbol Kerning Pairs settings can help with chords with an altered bass.
Thanks, Fred, this is great news. I can see why I missed this since you have to reveal the feature to use it. Thanks again!
