Metadata in ALL render file formats
Really annoying that I have to go to “fix” the FLAC exports with metadata each time I do an export - it would be really helpful to make sure metadata is provided to all rendered file formats, especially FLAC (where it is not done) as this is so heavily used these days.
For AAC, why do you say you need to fix it?
What do you mean? Both AAC and MP3 exports are possible.
Second thought. If you mean you are using the “multi-file format export”, then I understand your request.

I was thinking of AIFF exports which don’t have the metadata, not AAC which do seem to allow export of metadata.

I had not spotted that there was an AAC (M4A) rendering option available as it was “hidden” as the iTunes format!
I consider AIFF as a “dead format” as Apple, long time ago, has declared AIFF will no longer be updated or maintained. This is why its support in WaveLab is limited.
Agreed. I had setup the multi-file exports so long ago (many versions back) and just had carried them forward without thinking - I’d forgotten why I was doing that export in the first place. Now got rid of that part of the multi-file setup . I’m going to edit the original feature request again to reflect this better.
