Feature Request: Audio & MIDI Delay Compensation Improvements

Hiya - I have a couple of long standing feature requests/improvements I’d love to suggest, namely:

  1. External Effect Delay Compensation - Add a samples-based timing option: Since PDC and buffer values are inherently sample-quantised internally, using rounded millisecond values (e.g. 64.30ms for 3072 samples) forces imprecise timing; a toggle between ms and samples allows users to set exact delay/offset values without rounding error, ensuring proper phase/time alignment.
  2. Per-device MIDI timing offset/compensation: Currently Cubase only offers a single global record-latency offset and no MIDI clock/sync output compensation at all, despite each connected MIDI device (interface, controller, or clock-synced external hardware) having its own inherent latency. A per-device offset, covering both MIDI input and output event timing, would remove the need to set manual per-track nudges etc when switching devices or buffer sizes.
