When I add a dashed line between two staves of piano music, I have to add the line, go to engrave mode, and drag it from one note to the other. Tedious. Why not select the two notes then click the line I want and it draws between them like a gliss line (except this is an indication that a voice continues on another staff)?
This will likely be possible on grand staff instruments eventually, but often Dorico introduces a concept once it has been worked out and then extends it in future steps.
This option already exists. Select the Note icons in the Lines panel, then add the line.

OH! I tried it and it isn’t precise. But it helps for sure.
