Currently in preferences you have
Auto Save: on/off
Auto Save Interval: #.## min

Can that be removed and have the DAW perform an Auto Save whenever the DAW has stopped playback/recording for a certain length of time. For example, if you stopped playback/recording and have not restarted playback/recording within let’s say (5 secs) the backup will be performed automatically.

So, the new preferences would be
Auto Save Idle Time (secs): ## secs

Hi,

I prefer the current implementation. Even if you don’t playback and you just edit your audio or MIDI, Cubase triggers Auto Save, which is welcome.
