I’m working with a brass quartet plus organ. I’d like to be able to bracket all 3 organ staves and brace just the 2 manual staves, but sub-bracket trumpet 1 and 2. Does anyone have an idea of how to accomplish this at the moment? If I brace the organ manuals, the bracket disappears except on the pedal staff, but if I bracket all 3 staves (manuals and pedal), the brace disappears. I could change the file’s sub-bracket appearance to a brace, but then trumpet 1 and 2 will have a brace instead of the sub-bracket I’m wanting…
It’d be so nice for braces to be independent of brackets and sub-brackets so I could combine all 3 of these items in any way necessary.
Perhaps in the future we’ll be able to provide separate control on a per-sub-bracket level as to whether or not the sub-bracket should draw as a brace or a sub-bracket.
That would certainly be nice, especially sooner rather than later…
