When splitting audio files into short events, it becomes extremely difficult to see waveforms of individual events. This is due to the rectangular event outlines covering up the view of the waveforms.
Look at what an audio file looks like after being cut into events.
Audio file before being split into events.
Audio file after it is split into events, one for each hitpoint.
As you can see, working with those short events becomes a nightmare.
This could easily be fixed if we could hide the rectangular outlines of the audio events so that only the waveforms can be adequately visible. This has been an issue for Cubase forever and is about time to be sorted out.
