Feature request, conditional transposition

I would like a conditional transposition. So, for example, only reduce or increase notes g#2 by x semitones.

The reason is, if I have a MIDI track with drums and I choose another drum set, it may be that a note that was a cymbal on the first drum set is a bell or a tom in the new one.

Then of course I just want to change this note

Use Drum Maps?

Hi,
you can select all events of a specific pitch by holding Ctrl/Cmd and clicking on the note on the virtual keyboard to the left. Afterwards you can transpose them with the up/down arrows.

Hi Reco,

i have about 80 single patterns and i don’twant to merge them

you could also use the midi insert transformer to do a conditional transposition. (this transposes the notes after they were read from the midi clip, but before it goes into the sample library)

I don’t think this works in the Drum Editor, which seems to be the focus of the OP (I know, you can open it in the Key Editor, but…).

However, it’s possible to select all the Parts, enter the Drum editor, then select the notes, and then use the Up/Down keys to transpose them.

thank you all for supporting my wish so much. where can I delete my account?

Why the sarcasm? It’s already possible to transpose notes based on pitch criteria by using the Logical Editor.

Edit: and via the solutions provided by @Johnny_Moneto

But if you want to delete your forum account PM me.

If you want the feature because of drums then the drum maps are your solution. Your requested feature is already inside of Cubase.

All you have to do is change the O-Note (output note) of the sound that needs its pitch changed. In the key and drum editor everything will visually remain the same but you will hear the correct sound.
You can save a drum map for each drum module that you are working with.

if you use a drum map you can also change the output note directly in the drum editor:

The LE is an alternative, more general solution:

You can chose which solution is more up your alley.
