Feature request: default envelope properties

In 99% of all cases I want the clip envelope to come after fx. Therefore, could there be an option to have this as the default? The same goes for smoothing.

Simply use a Montage template with all your preferred options.

Thanks, but how would I do that? The env options are per clip, right? I’d like a montage where every new/inserted clip automatically has its envelope set to “after fx”. Now I have to do it manually for every new clip. Am I missing something obvious?

Ok, I have tried every trick that I could find, but I am unable to create a preset/template/option that automatically sets env post fx for all new clips. Any ideas?

I was wrong mentioning templates, because this is a per-clip setting.
I will add the possibility to have this version On or Off by default in a future version (by right-clicking on the check box).
