Feature request: Export audio of multiple layers

Hello,

This would be a helpful time-saving addition. I mean exporting audio of several layers to separate audio files in one shot. I mean several layers of choice (different to the “Export Audio of Active Layer” or “Export Audio of All Layers” current options in the File menu).

So what happens when you “export audio of all layers”?
Unless I didnt fully understand the feature request.

I mean, export audio of “some” of the layers (not All Layers).
Therefore, proposing a fourth export option in the “File” menu.

An example:

You have a project with 20 layers and want to export 7 of those layers to individual WAV files. Currently, I see two possibilities to get there:

  1. export one by one layer (using "Export Audio of Active Layer)
  2. export all the layers (“Export Audio of All Layers”), wait for it, and then delete 13 unneeded files.

So what happens when you solo(ACTIVATE THE CHANNELS) that you want exported and choose the same “export audio of all layers”?

That´s FANTASTIC. I did not try doing that, assuming it would export ALL LAYERS always. Thank you so much. :smiley:
