Feature request: extra Local/Global switch

Hello!

I’m in the proces of engraving my first bigger project in Dorico and had one idea to be able to work a little faster.

To keep a good eye on the lay-out, I like to engrave with the properties panel closed. However, to make the switch between local and global, I have to open it. I did map a key shortcut for this, but I like to visually check it’s set correctly before I change anything to make sure I don’t mess up anything in the full score lay-out.

So, here comes my request:

Adding a little toggle to the closed properties panel.

Maybe this is still in time before the upcoming Dorico 4 release… :wink:

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m afraid this isn’t something we’re likely to add in the short term, but I do understand the requirement.
