Feature request for filtering selection and a general request about stateful GUI

Could the entire Edit > Filter submenu be duplicated into 2 identical submenus called ‘Select only’ and ‘Deselect (only)’? This way, you never have to go to this menu twice for 1 action.

Also, the corresponding jump bar entries could be both ‘Select only bottom note in chords’ and ‘Deselect bottom note in chords’. This also eliminates some application state that you need to keep track of in your mind when using Dorico.

A more general remark about stateful UI
A relatively large part of the inconvenience I sometimes experience in Dorico’s generally briljant GUI, has to do with how stateful it is. There are a lot of settings remembered in the application state on which the result of a keyboard or mouse action depends, like chord mode, insert mode (which are not visible around the current selection but do have an effect when manipulating music outside of Note input mode), and also that Select / Deselect setting in the Filter submenu, which is not visible at all when using the jump bar. I know some GUI state is unavoidable in an advanced application like Dorico, but eliminating as much state as possible would make the application faster for me with muscle memory.

(I think it’s great that e.g. this request is now implemented! That also bypasses some GUI state, i.e. which Jump bar tab is selected.)

I assigned shortcuts to Select Only and Deselect Only, and am doing fairly well to remember which state I’m in. But an indicator would be most welcome.
