Feature Request for HALion 8 : Frequency modulation to a sampled yourself

FM Lab of HALion 7 allows you to choose a waveform, but there are limitations.
The Yamaha SY99(or SY77?) and Synclavier could apply frequency modulation to sampled waveforms.
Currently, Arturia’s Snclavier V can do something similar, but I’d really like to see that functionality implemented in FM Lab of HALion 7, which is based on the DX7, the most famous FM synthesizer in the world.
If HALion 8 were to include those features in the future, I think it would be a huge hit.

It was called RCM (Realtime Convolution and Modulation) and both the SY77/TG77 and SY99 could do it if I remember correctly.

Here some examples I found

Yamaha did not really follow up on RCM after the SY99, I’m not sure if the sonic results justified the effort.

Thanks for sharing the video, Steve77!
I remember being excited when I saw a brochure for the SY77 a long time ago, and it said that you could apply frequency modulation to the sampling sound.
I think sampling plus frequency modulation creates an incredibly profound sound.
