Recently, one of my band-mates suggested that there should be a “progress bar” on the lyrics display in order to get a better idea of the amount of time left in the current song. I would also suggest that this enhancement be added to the iPad application as well.

I guess you are working with a EndMarker in the TRACKS view? And your band-mate would like to see a progress-bar between Start-Time and End-Marker? And this progress bar should be visible in the LYRCIS view? On the bottom? How’s your workflow? You pop-out the LYRICS view and present this view on a separate monitor?

All your assumptions are correct. Our workflow will be to pop out the lyrics page and then maximize it on the Mac in the center of the stage so we all can see it. Our singer has an iPad which she will use for lyrics (sometimes).

I mis-understood your prior comment. Our usage is to normally leave the “lyrics” view (instead of the “Tracks” view) open for the band. I’d like to see a small progress bar at the bottom of that screen.

yes, I understood your point. In the last Pre-Release Version we have added a progress bar to the tune on the left side. Now we are discussing and thinking how to resolve your request. I’ll keep you in the loop.

One more request on this one - can we have a setting in the preferences pages to enable progress on all the lyrics sheets at once. This eliminates the need to make this change for every song. Thanks. -ew

… it has been added to the next version. Right-Click to the progress-control and a context menu appears with “Apply State to all Songs”.
