I was confused the other day as to why note spacing and other changes weren’t causing formatting to change the number of bars on a system. I finally realized that casting off was on. (I had imported all of another file’s settings via the library manager. A file I didn’t think had casting off turned on).
Would it be possible to have a signpost or some sort of visual feedback to let us know that casting off is turned on. In addition to my situation I read so many posts with formatting problems that ultimately are fixed by turning off or adjusting casting off that it makes sense (to me at least) to have a signpost tell us it is on.
