Feature request: Full Listen functions on all tracks in the Arrange window

So I find myself working amore and more in the arrange window as opposed to the dedicated mixer window when doing minor mix adjustments (ie. small fader moves, accessing inserts/sends etc). It’s often more convenient to do this from the track inspector, especially as I have video dedicated to a second monitor over the mixer.

What I don’t understand though is the half-hearted implementation of the Listen function outside the mixer. So you can display the Listen button in the arrange window (track or track inspector) on regular audio tracks, but NOT on groups, FX tracks, Instrument tracks, or individual outputs of multi-timbral instruments tracks. Even though these are readily accessible in the mixer for each, they are unavailable in Track Controls settings for these types of tracks.

As someone who uses this function often I don’t understand this. I can only assume there is some technical limitation preventing it but this is really frustrating.

Anyone else like to see this implemented?

You can access it in the far left zone slider and/or left side inspector.

Ah yes I see it under Fader in the track inspector - thanks. I would still like to be able to access it from Track Controls like very other section for audio tracks. I’m not sure why it’s not available there. Or even simply at the top of the inspector on the left, where every other standard mixer toggles are.

I completely agree. When space is limited it would make sense.. The far left lane can be compressed, not to take up too much space and is probably the best option considering the circumstances.

Yeah I just logically it’s also a bit confusing. You’ve got access to those standard function in one spot up the top of the track inspector and on the track itself, but not for listen only for those specific tracks. It just makes this unnecessarily confusing. And,a s you say, real estate is tight in the inspector.
