Here’s a feature request: if I’m at a particular point in the song, and I select a preset for a VST, I’d like Cubase to insert the various automation parameters to transition from where the corresponding values are currently set to where they would be set per the preset.
Cubase would prompt me for the amount of time prior to the insertion point where the “tweening” would begin (expressed in either measures or mm:ss) and would give me the curve options like the Fade In / Fade Out window does under Process for an audio track. It would also prompt me to specify how dense the automation points are in either musical or linear time, i.e. “do you want to insert new values for each automation parameter every eighth, quarter, half, 16th triplet note?” Etc.
