Feature Request - let NotePad gain true usefulness

NotePad has been around since dawn, but it languishes. If we had some simple changes:

The Ability to copy and paste
The ability to host a hyperlink
Maybe Bold and Italic
The ability to become document size and return - AKA MS Notepad.
Have a Notepad of each Project, one for the Mixer views…
Then..
Say you had some Track or Track Archive, you could link it to a utube video which has a track that is similar to your goal. Or a tutorial for the sofwate that is relvent.
You could make notes on why you want it for scene 4.
You could make notes on parts of the hosted VST which is still new to you.

Many other things…

Not exactly sure what you are referencing in this part, but there is already a Project >> Project Notepad option

thats an old one. It would be so easy to implement changes like copy and past, bold,etc

Great request, and I’ve seen it mentioned for about 10 years or longer, so I’m not holding out any hope at this point. I find Notepad to be fairly useless for the reasons you mentioned.

As a workaround until/if it ever gets good, I use the free plugin notepad from Melda. It’s not perfect but it’s a significant improvement from the one in Cubase.
