I would really like the option to lock some VST plugin windows such that they do not close when the close all windows command is issued. My use case is as follows:
I have a couple meters open (SPAN and Schope) which I use consistently to monitor sounds during design and what not. After messing with various plugin and insert parameters, I often have many VST windows open. I have the “close all windows” command bound to an easy to access key binding (CTRL+Shift+W) so that I can quickly and easily close everything in front of my arrangement and mixer windows (dual monitor setup).
However, the meters I would like to remain open- some sort of option to allow us to “lock plugin windows” or similar. Currently everything closes and I have to open up the mixer, go to the master channel and re-open the meters I wanted to remain visible.
