I would like to request that the chord symbol region be displayed as just a bar above the staff and not highlight the entire staff. Or, be able to edit the color/opacity of the region highlight. I like knowing where it is but I find it a bit overwhelming to look at on my score.
Hi @bmoriak, just in case: you can deactivate the highlight of Chord Symbol regions from the View menu:

yup! I usually do, but would be nice to have the indication throughout without it being so bold.
