Cubasis has truly evolved into an absolutely outstanding app.
For someone who is always on the go like me, there is simply no better mobile DAW available. The Tempo Track has made it possible to comfortably write full orchestral pieces on a tablet, HALion Sonic has dramatically expanded my sound palette across all genres, the Waves plugins are fantastic, and the overall stability is rock-solid. I’m truly grateful to the entire Steinberg team — thank you so much!
I have just one feature that I would very much love to see added:
Please let us view and edit multiple MIDI tracks simultaneously in the Piano Roll editor.
Currently we can only see one MIDI track’s piano roll at a time. Being able to open and display several MIDI tracks side-by-side (or overlaid) in the piano roll would be incredibly powerful for checking chord voicings, spotting note clashes, balancing orchestral/instrumental harmonies, copying parts between tracks, and overall composition work. This single addition would take Cubasis to an even higher level for serious mobile composition.
