I’m working on a project where im producing both the music for a film and a moment when an ice cream truck drives by. The ice cream truck music needs to be at a different tempo than the other music. Currently there’s no easy way to have two simultaneous tempos going on in a single cubase project. It would be convenient to be able to create a second tempo track that applies only to a specific group of tracks, in this case just the ice cream truck.
You could use the ‘Sizing Applies Time Stretch’ mode of the select tool on the icecream music tracks to achieve what you want. That seems to be the easiest solution.
