Hi there! I would like to request 2 features
First one: Can you make the nudge feature work when you select an audio event without cutting it?
Let me explain when you select an audio event you can move the selection with the comp tool but if you decide to nudge it you have to cut it in order to work other wise the nudge buttons will only move the selection length but not the actual audio event
Second: I do lots of latin percussion editing and i invest countless hours doing it for different studios, looking at the white numbers on time displays and different values can be tiring after hours.
Is it possible to let us add like a green color as we want to all this numbers to make it easy on the eye?
So you don’t have to look at it directly? When numbers are green for example you can see it without even looking at it and is so much easier on the eye. And I understand you probably have all this numbers in white due to people that are color blind and that’s awesome but how many color blind are there in reality? At least let us be able to add color if we want it to make it easy to look at. Plus imagine how great the interface will look with the dark theme and green numbers

Exactly it works as you describe it!
But it should be better and it could be better
There are 4 buttons on the nudge palet that are pretty much doing the same thing
The big ones should be to move the range the little ones should move the selected area
I came to cubase on 11 and immediately I requested this feature since pro tools has it for years in cubase 12 they added it yeahhh but it could be better, why to add that extra step of cutting when I could work without having to do so ? That’s why I called it a request
Yes they move as expected but you have to cut the audio to move it
For example when the smart tool is on, you just range select an event, hover on it then the grab or hand tool shows up you grab it and move it as you wish without cutting it
The nudge buttons should do the same thing!range select, go to the nudge buttons and move as you please without having to cut the audio event , that splitting action shouldn’t be necessary
If pro tools did that years ago Cubase can do it
