I wonder why Cubase lacks a re-trigger function during sample preview in MediaBay. It would be so much more convenient to re-play a sample from the beginning immediately, rather than having to switch to a different sample and back just to restart it.
like in Ableton, when i want to hear a sample play very fast as i want, just press Right arrow key.
By default it’s Shift + Enter.
I’m still using v14, but samples re-trigger just fine for me. Left mouse click, sample plays, another left mouse click sample plays again. No modifier keys.
Same with ENTER key. Repeated presses, repeated re-triggers.
So is this another “improvement” introduced in v15?
