Times are changing and companies have to align their products and services to the market. In case of audiobook productions clients asking to send the correction marker lists starting each chapter from timecode 0:00:00:00. At the moment, the option in Nuendo 10 would be to add each chapter audio file to a new audio track. Including everything (original audio file track, edit track, marker tracks etc.) an audiobook project can grow up to 100 tracks and above. That wouldn’t make sense.
Other audio engineers and me says, if Steinberg would add a function to separate the timeline in “chapters” / sections it would be a big advantage towards Pro Tools and useful for nowadays recording studio audio post production process requirements.
