Feature request: Save File group tab

I like using File groups. They make it easy to collect montages and files associated with a project in one place. However, in their current state, they’re almost “in the middle”, between a Project and a File. But, by organising projects through File groups (instead of Project(s)), several can be open at any time, making it easy to compare settings etc.

Therefore: it would be great if it was possible to save a File group, just as you can save a project. For me, this would be a huge workflow enhancement.

By right clicking on a file tab group, there is an export function.
And in the File tab, there is an “import file group” function.
Did you try this? Else, what are your expectations?

Wow, I had no idea that the export file names could be used for this. Talk about “hidden gem” :slight_smile:
