Feature Request: select all button in Library Manager

The same scenario everywhere: the harddrive is filling up and you want to move the Steinberg content to an external harddrive. Right now you have to click EVERY single library in the Steinberg Library Manager and move it. It already has the option to specify the “Library default location”. So why not make a button to move all content to this location in one go?

Hello. Just select multiple libraries first and the “move” action will move them all.

EDIT: ‘twer I designing the interface, in addition to the checkbox selection, I would have the “MOVE” button highlighted on all selected libraries so that the functionality of “moving all libraries with the click of any of the MOVE buttons” was more intuitive. I think I too got hung up the first time I went to move multiple libraries and had to figure out on my own that clicking any of the selected MOVE libraries would work.

Thanks, it worked.

A checkbox inside a button? That is a really weird GUI. It was probably more complicated to program a new GUI element instead of using the standard checkboxes and buttons.

I just spent 10 minutes clicking Move buttons. Maybe a “select all” button would help.

This future button deserves a military rank:
General Move :backhand_index_pointing_right:

I just open the Windows Explorer to move them. Then I go for dinner. By the the time I’ve cooked it and eaten it (dinner, not the Windows Explorer) the move is done. Then a double-click on a random vstsound file and the manager does it’s thing.
Not regulation, but it works.

I just figured out (under Windows) that keeping the ALT key pressed on your keyboard while clicking one of the ‘x’ fields toggles it for all entries on that tab (not across all tabs though, but I think that makes sense).

And “option” on Mac! :white_check_mark:
