I would like to see a feature added for improved editing:
Since I’m editing audio a lot I would like to suppress the Grid temporarily with an option key.
Pretty much like [Alt] turns the standard selector tool into scissors, I’d like to have [Shift] suppress the grid for as long as I press [Shift]. This would help a lot! I already assigned a shortcut key to Grid on/off, but it would be a great deal more convenient, to have this temporarily suppress feature.
(Vice versa the grid should be temporarily on when [shift] is pressed, when Grid is not activated.)
I don’t think it should be too hard to implement that, since all the general functionalities are already there.
Please comment, if you also would like to see this feature added!
