Feature request: UI scale factor

The size of Dorico’s UI compared to two other apps:

(This is on an external monitor (1920 x 1080 px, about 24"), with Scale set to 125% in Windows’ display settings)

I find the buttons to be quite large (especially that left zone).

When you’re using mainly keyboard shortcuts (one of Dorico’s unique selling points), this big UI is a bit annoying and takes away from the score, for me.

The UI looks perfect for me at Scale 100% in Windows’ display settings – but then all other apps, and Windows itself, are too small.

Hence, a setting to change the UI scaling / zoom (just like e.g. Ableton has) would be ace.

This has been requested before, and although it’s not a high priority for us, it’s something we may look at in future.

If you’re typically using key commands anyway, try using Ctrl+7 to hide the left panel.

Thanks!
Yes; though it’s nice to have a small visual reminder of what note lengths and articulations you’re about to input – just like you always know when input-mode / chord-mode etc is toggled on or off.
