Feature Request: User Template Pool, cultured by Steinberg

Could Steinberg Create a user template zone where we could share templates?
Routing a decent template is lengthy, an interesting chore sure, but sometimes you need something quicker, or maybe some inspiration.
Some kind of user rating for the Templates, so the cream comes to the top. Classifications, Maybe some comments. Within Cubase - not in netherland. Would be quite interesting to have such a user space. Great internal shopping mall.
All templates without sounds of course, so, for example say there is a motown template and it uses Groove Agent 6, the user can download the free template and swap out of course but that tempation to buy Groove Agent six has that pull…
I can see internal Caverns. Wares.

I am not sure whether that is really useful for templates in practice, because I suspect that most templates people create will include third party instruments and/or effect plugins, which other people might not have.

I do think though that a user area could be useful for sharing other stuff, like Drum Maps, MIDI remote scripts, Expression Maps, Logical Editor presets and so on.

Just save the template as a project and share it. Though read what fese said about third party stuff.

Thank you. I was also thinking about presets. a fuction called “top user presets” (like a Top of the Pops for presets).
This is blue sky thinking of course, but AI can do lots more.
Cubase underground user network. curated by Steinberg, accessed by accepting a privacy clause and sharing development data - but defintely not a developmers app, a users app with immediately useful wares and info. A cult.

I have been thinking about a Cubase “Ear”, some app that can take the sound you have and compare it, with different filter bounds, eg. classical, more bassy, something that can sweep through media bay and other files. I see the image of a bulls eye, like a dartboard, you can put your dart in close, or out on the perimeters, to relax or closely specify.

If you happen to have 4 video displays and use Metagrid, Im happy to share. Otherwise, my project templates would look like a mess.

Drum maps etc, absolutely. To this day i dont know why Toontrack removed all their Cubase drum maps from their forum.

LE and PLE sure. However keep in mind 90% of my PLE and LE are stolen from the factory ones, then modufied for my particular objectives. I doubt some modifications would be of much benefit because for example they are tied to workspaces which are tied to multiple display settings. But maybe there are a few outside the factory stuff that may be beneficial.

Midi remote scripts and expression maps why not?

For EWHopus i have found the Poundsound templates to be beneficial, and a reasonable price. They also have a great selection of track pictures if you are into that sort of thing.
