The video thumbnails are dictated by the zoom amount. I’d like to be able to control how the thumbnails are displayed and perhaps “lock” them in place. For instance, Im working on a scene and I’d like to map out every time the scene cuts to a new angle or shot. It would be so great to have this reflected in the thumbnails, but this is only true when you are zoomed out so much. If you zoom in you can only fit a few thumbnails and the thumbnail wont redraw to show the cut to a new angle. Even if i split the video into separate events this is still true.
It would be cool if we had more control over how our thumbnails get displayed so we can see at a glance all of the cuts over a long section. Very valuable feature for film composers…
