Nah. File > Key Commands lets you assign a key command for nearly everything, but this is one of the few things they haven’t added to the key commands list yet.
What I meant by my comment is that maybe the key commands for the video engine are fixed.
I remember reading in the forums that Cubase uses a quicktime video engine.
So I thought that maybe the same key commands for an external quicktime player would work.
