Hi, there are some features that definitely does not exist before, however, it will be creative for now and a standard in the future. I hope Dorico can add the feature of grey-scale colored note heads based on the note’s velocity. This feature will be extremely useful for instruments like drumsets or any percussive instruments. The ghost notes are used as the underlying subdivision grid to define the basic intensity of musical motion. I think any traditional way of presenting this idea is not as effective as the Grey-scale Colored Note Heads.
Another two related feature suggestions:
- Select notes by velocity or filter notes out of selection by their velocity. It is like the midi logical editor in Cubase.
- Assign the traditional Ghost note appearance to the selected notes.
