As I approach the mastering/stem printing phase of my projects, I frequently need to measure peak and loudness statistics of the WAV files I’m printing, and the Cubase Statistics window gives me all the information I need.
However, it’s a little cumbersome to have to make a new audio track and import those WAV files into Cubase before I can run statistics on them.
Is there a way to be able to open up a file browsing window, pick a random WAV file, and get those statistics calculated?
If not, can we make one please? It’s a small thing, but it’s the grand total of such small quality-of-life improvements that make a product like Cubase shine!
