Fermata and Caesura Durations Again

In this example:

I have set the duration for both the fermata and caesura to 400.

  • I hear no fermata.
  • I hear the caesura, but it is extremely brief, almost like a breath mark.

Any suggestions?

Workaround:

If I set the fermata to 100 with a 100 gap duration, and set no duration for the caesura, it plays back like I want. That is sort of a cheat, but if it looks right and plays back right, I guess it’s OK.
