fermate in divisi

i have a 32-voice long note with:

8 instruments, each instrument plays a divisi à 4
Is there a possibility so that the fermate only shows over the note of the 1st divisi instrument? Fermates take so much space and I can hardly fit a 32 voice chord on a A3 page so that the notes don’t become too small.
I looked in the properties, but ‘max. fermates per stave’ doesnt’ work with divisi…

I think you’ll need to create your own fermata-style symbols using Playing Techniques, and then just apply them to the staves you want.
