It may be answered somewhere but can’t find:
I’d like to create figured bass number 3 and by an other note 5 only. I know it seems useless normally but I want to mark the soprano position, so it makes sense to me.
Could you help me please how to manage it? When I type 3, nothing appears below the note.
There’s a whole bunch of options in Engraving options>Figured Bass… Not sure what you want, but perhaps this???

Like everything in Dorico, you can of course set the Engraving Options to one thing, and then apply an ‘override’ if you need it.
Starting your popover command with o or ! should force the figure.
There are also Note Input Options for Figured Bass.
