Hello,
we had some threads on this theme, but as far as I can tell, this one isn’t covered yet.
I would like to make my Figured bass numbers visible - on a whole bar’s rest.
Somehow it does not work (as whole bar’s rests are not really rests).
Is there a possible workaround?
Example, bar 2:
There’s always my GoFigure lyric-text figured bass font.

Thank you Ben, ok., you took the word workaround literally. I wonder if there is a way within Dorico itself to make those numbers visible 
Use a different voice (suppress playback). Hide notehead/stem and rests. Reset position of whole bar rest.

Oh, thank you Janus, hidden notes, of course!
I had been fiddling around with hidden rests, which led me to nowhere…
