Figured bass: why raised?

The 7 and 5 on the second chord should not be raised. I typed “!7,5” in the popover and the + signs were added automatically. Typing “!7n,5n” shows natural symbols which are not wanted.

Calculate accidentals is set to “Absolute from Bass Note” but changing this doesn’t make a difference. Reset to factory setttings does not make a difference either, except that it displays sharp symbols instead of strokes. What have I overlooked?

Hello,

I have experienced many problem with the BC integrated in Dorico (particularly about French Baroque Music).

I finally gave up, and now use the Figurato font revisited by BenWiggy (with whom I’ve had a lot of private exchanges on the subject) : GoFigure.
I recommend that you follow the same path as I did.

GoFigure font by Ben

Thank you for your suggestion. I know about GoFigure but I think that Dorico should be able to handle this case correctly

Change the Note Input Options for figured Bass to Allow diminished intervals.

Then you’ll get this:
