File management - after v6.2

Firstly, the program is mostly great and I’ve appreciated it. The 6.2 update has been frustrating.

In recent posts I’ve read that correcting recent changes to the file management system is ‘on the backlog ‘also’ list. Imo it is more important than that, being a basic level of clear and intuitive functionality.

‘Normalized’ Feature - request:

At the opening screen, where ‘open recent’, ‘create new’, and then ‘recent’ ‘on my ipad’… those seem redundant and able to be joined with heirarchy

and… the file listing view choice at the very right, lacks headers to sort by name, date, etc.

Finally, I’d hoped with the new version, some program options might be reached by tapping the Dorico logo

If you are talking about Dorico for the iPad, please make that explicit. Is this a problem for desktop and iPad versions or just for the iPad?

Just using the ipad version, as shown in hashtag. Figured out the file iteration issue as posted separately.

Still requesting file column headers in list view on opening screen, so that ‘recents’ and ‘on my ipad’ can be sorted. Otherwise have to use ipad file manager rather than staying in Dorico, which although Dorico does filter for projects, it does not allow sorting by or viewing of other file aspects ie name/date/size etc.
