Hi - I’m finding that whenever I open any Dorico file (including, eg, ones I’ve just saved) then the File Modified Flag immediately gets set (ie I get an asterisk next to the file name, and on closing the fileget prompted “Save changes to [filename] before closing? If you don’t save, your changes will be lost.” ) There is nothing in the history log (it’s greyed out), and, as I say, it happens in every case. It’s a minor issue I know, but it is disconcerting…
It feels to me that this started for me at version 5.1.1, but I am not absolutely sure - could just have easily been when I was playing around with default playback templates.
Apologies if I have missed this topic if it has come up before - difficult to guess appropriate keywords to search on.
Anyone else had this?
Thanks!
Geoff D.
If you open a file with Dorico 5.1.1 that was previously created in an earlier version, like D 5.1, it will update the file to the new version - thus giving it a “file changed” flag. This is totally ok.
Hi Estigy - thanks. Unfortunately this is happening with all files - including ones created with the current version.

Yes, this is happening to me too. I believe it is a known issue. Nothing to worry about in the meantime.
